About Us

Green Alliance Women Group (GAWG) is a registered community-based organization (CBO) in Kajiado County, Kenya. GAWG is a women-led organization and Women Rights Organization (WRO) concerned with a variety of issues affecting women in the county, including empowerment (along with the enhancement of livelihoods), women protection (fighting FGM, GBV, rape, and human trafficking, among others), human/women rights, equality, lobbying, and advocacy in support of women throughout Kajiado. This includes the multiple challenges that women face in the target county.
